How Does the Online Screen Recorder Work?

  1. First, select which audio you want to record while screen recording. The tool supports to record either browser or microphone audio.
  2. Most importantly, when you select 'Record Microphone Audio', the browser will ask for microphone permission. Please allow it otherwise it will not record microphone audio.
  3. After selecting the audio type, press the 'Start Recording' button.
  4. The browser asks for the screen sharing options: Specific Tab, Window, or Entire Screen. Choose the required one.
  5. It also shows the option to share a tab, screen, or system audio. Enable or disable it as needed.
  6. After selecting all the required options, press the 'Share' button.
  7. The tool starts recording your screen corresponding to the selected audio and video types.
  8. When you press the 'Stop' button, the recorder returns the preview of your video.
  9. Lastly, export the video (WEBM) file using the 'Save' button.
